Bertha M. Arcadipane Obituary It is with sadness that we announce Bertha (Bertie) Arcadipane, 89, passed away quietly at the Wellington Eldercare facility, with Hospice care, Monday evening, August 4, 2014. She was born March 7, 1925 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania to Quirino and Rosa (Deramo) Romito. Bertha graduated from Charleroi High School in 1943 in western Pennsylvania. She was married December 27, 1945 to Leonard Arcadipane and relocated to Harrisburg in central Pennsylvania. Bertha spent her work career as a civilian employee of the Federal Government in central Pennsylvania, with both the Air Force and the Army, in computer operations. She retired in 1977 after more than 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by sister Ann Smith, brother Louis Romito, sister Dorothy Duffett, daughter Barbara Vagnerini, and husband Leonard. Bertha is survived by son Lee Arcadipane and his wife Charlene of Wellington, grandson Randy Arcadipane, and granddaughter Kaylee Arcadipane. Memorial services will be held in western Pennsylvania.
