Bartholomew Lalla

Bartholomew Lalla of Wellington, Florida was called to our Lord on October 8, 2011. Born in Port Chester, New York on January 5, 1945, he was the son of Frank and Beatrice (Sabato) Lalla. He is survived by his brother Frank J Lalla. He was a Rye High School graduate and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served as a Staff Sargeant in Vietnam. He is a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Catholic Church and made Cursillo #49 in September 2001. His lifelong career was in corporate aviation. Well known in his industry, he worked for several companies across the country and received the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010. His memory will be cherished by his wife; Mary, daughters; Adrienne, Colleen, Sara, Stephanie, his loving grandchildren; Sadie, Molly and Anthoney (we love you Papa!) and his many relatives and his many friends. A devoted father and grandfather he always gave great advice and had a super sense of humor. A visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Catholic Church on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at South Florida National Cemetery.
