Austin Hatch Liss

Austin Hatch Liss, 23, died on October 1, 2018, in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. He was born October 21, 1994 in Wilmington, Massachusetts, the son of Brooke Duffy Liss and Ronald Francis Liss, Jr. He attended Cox High School in Virginia Beach and Reading High School in Massachusetts. Austin played lacrosse through high school and enjoyed surfing. He was funny, warm, generous and the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson and friend. Austin also had an artistic bent, winning many photography contests while he was a student. He made friends easily and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. His parents, Brooke Liss and Ron Liss, survive Austin. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Mercer and Page Duffy, of Virginia Beach; and his paternal grandparents, Ron and Barbara Liss of Royal Palm Beach, Florida. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive Austin. Services will be held on Friday, October 12th at 11:00am at Eastern Shore Chapel in Virginia Beach, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA.
