Astley "Teddy" Smythe

Astley Smythe of Riviera Beach, age 69, answered God's calling on November 23, 2013. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Astley was no stranger to hard work. He worked as an electrician from earlier years in Jamaica and continued his trade once migrating to the U.S. in order to support his family and allow them the opportunity to live the American Dream. Astley was a family man; friend; counselor; and confidant who worked hard to make everyone's burden light. A true team +player and a domino fanatic, his gift of compassion and his vibrant smile brought warmth to his environment. To cherish Astley's fond memories are: Wife - Mehetabel; Sons - Garfield (Vanessa), Elton, Oniel and Craig (Jennifer); Step daughter - Jacqueline; Grandchildren - Ashlee, Shane, Austin, Onielia and Destiny; Special son - Israel Hill; Special daughter - Cheryl Brown; Brothers - Paul and Collin; Sisters - Ann and Paulette and a host of relatives and friends.
