Arthur Lother Sweetman Jr

SWEETMAN, Arthur Lother, Jr. "Art" Art Sweetman, age 58, of Royal Palm Beach, passed peacefully from this life on April 8, 2014 at Hospice of Palm Beach County. Art was born on June 13, 1955 in Brockton, MA. He leaves a wonderful legacy of love and laughter enjoyed by all his family and friends. Art was a marine mechanic at Conch Cove Marina in Jupiter, FL for years, and was the Owner & President of Art Sweetman Painting, LLC, for over 30 years. He was dearly loved by all his clients. Art was extremely loyal and fair to anyone that he worked for. Art was an auto enthusiast and loved cars, motorcycles & boats. His motto in life was fast and furious, and he lived his life this way. Art is survived by his beautiful and loving daughter, Nicole B. Sweetman, his loving former wife, Barbara Sweetman, his parents, Arthur Sweetman, Sr. and Pauline Sweetman. – along with his sisters, Donna Morris and Paula Sweetman, his brother Steve Sweetman (Nancy Sweetman), along with nieces and nephews and pre-deceased by his brother, Scott Sweetman. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 on April 16, 2014. Visitation will be from 4 to 5 PM. Service at 5PM presided by Christ Fellowship Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
