Arthur Gilbert Holzapfel

Arthur Gilbert Holzapfel, 66 of Lake Worth, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his residence. Art was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and grew up in South Plainfield, New Jersey. He attended grammar school and high school in South Plainfield. Art retired from AT&T after more than 30 years of service. He was also employed by Home Depot in South Plainfield for many years. He is predeceased by his parents Arthur G. Holzapfel and Rosemary (Hahn) Holzapfel and a brother-in-law, Leonard Impagliatelli. He is survived by his sisters; Patricia Impagliatelli and Caroline Payne and her husband, Alfred. He is also survived by two nephews; Alfred C. Payne III and his wife Catherine, and Paul S. Payne and his wife Dawn, as well as grandnieces; Kaitlyn, Brenna, Hailey, and Emma, and a grandnephew, Dylan. Funeral Arrangements are being conducted by Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. Internment will be at Hillside Cemetery, in Scotch Plains, New Jersey at a later date.
