It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Arthur Merrill Bragg. on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 in Delray Beach Florida. Beloved husband to Barbara Lombardi-Bragg, loving brother, uncle and friend Arthur passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. Born in Montpelier, Vermont, to Merrill Bragg and Priscilla Bragg Rustin, Arthur grew up with a strong sense of community and service. His unwavering dedication to his country led him to serve in the Army during The Vietnam War. During his service, he was awarded both the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star with a "V" for valor—honors that reflect his bravery and sacrifice for his country. Following his military service, Arthur spent 45 years as a Chief Operating Officer in many private country clubs in New York and Florida. His commitment to excellence and dedication to service earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and members alike. His work ethic and kind spirit touched the lives of many, and his legacy in the industry will not soon be forgotten. Art was an avid golfer, spending most weekends on the course, or the driving range perfecting his swing and connecting with friends. His love for the game went beyond the sport itself—it was a way for him to clear his mind and simply enjoy nature. Above all, Arthur was devoted to his family and his love and wisdom will continue to inspire those who knew him. He was known for his strength, integrity, and kindness, always willing to lend a hand or offer a listening ear. His presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Arthur lived a life of purpose, and his legacy of courage, service, and love will live on forever. A private memorial service will be held.
