Antonina Bonanno, lovingly known to her family as "Ann" or "Aunt Danny", passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, at the age of 89. She was a 25 year resident of Royal Palm Beach, Florida. Born to Peter and Stella Bonanno, Ann was a loving sister to Frank Bonanno (Lucy) and Rose Racca (Charles). She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Peter Jr. and Eddie, and her nephew Eddie Jr. Though her heavenly family has welcomed her home, she leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be cherished forever. Ann dedicated her life to helping others. Her work with special needs children and young adults was more than a career — it was her calling and her passion. Through her compassion, patience, and kindness, she touched countless lives and made the world brighter for those she served. Family was at the very heart of Ann's life. She was the proud and beloved aunt of Lori, Dawn, Christine, Peter, Lynn, Michael, and Eddie Jr., and she embraced her role as one of the most loving aunts ever. As a great-aunt, she brought joy and love to Christopher, Sean, Adam, Amy, Nikki, Jonathan, Alexa, Tristan, Emma, Nicole, and Frankie. Her circle of love grew even wider as she became a great-great-aunt, treasuring every moment with Travis, Sophia, Makenzie, Averi, Declan, Avery Lee, and LJ. Each of them adored their "Aunt Danny", who never arrived without a thoughtful fun gift and a warm smile. Our family holds especially close the many memories of years spent together in Rocky Point, NY. There, Ann's generous spirit shone as she spoiled us all endlessly, creating memories filled with laughter, love, and togetherness — memories that will be treasured forever. Ann often told us the reason she was blessed with so many years on this earth — even while facing health challenges — was so she could continue to pray for each and every one of us. Her life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and faith, and she will be remembered not only for the love she gave, but also for the love she inspired in all of us. To honor Ann's memory, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, her charity of choice. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
