Anthony G. Thomas

ANTHONY G. THOMAS, JR., age 42, died on April 15, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Anthony was born in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Anthony Thomas, Sr. and Donna Thomas. Anthony has resided in South Florida for the past 27 years, and was a long-time employee of Federal Express. In addition to his work, Anthony also served his community as an official for various youth and high school athletic sports. Anthony was married in 2002 to his loving wife Maria Thomas. And is survived by his wife, Maria; sons, Michael and Matthew; father, Anthony Thomas Sr.; mother, Donna; brother, Charles Thomas; sister, Michele Burka; grandparents, Frank and Mary Gentile; and in-laws, Michael and Linda Martinez. A visitation will be held Sunday, April 19, 2009 from 4-8 P.M. at Palms West Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ignatius Loyola Cathedral, 9999 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL with entombment following at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, FL. We will miss you Anthony, as a son; grandson; husband, father and sibling.
