Anne was born on June 26, 1936, in Taberg, NY to Mela and Barbara Zalac Narolis. On January 16th, 2025, Anne passed away peacefully surrounded by love. On September 24th, 1955, Anne was united in marriage to Jack D. Betsinger at St. Patrick's Church in Taberg, NY. Jack passed on February 4th, 1988, and Anne had been anticipating the day she would be reunited with the love of her life. Anne grew up the youngest of 14 children of Mela and Barbara Narolis. She was the only surviving sibling of first-generation immigrants and with her passing, the generational gift of her parents will continue through the remaining and future generations of the Narolis family. Let us not forget the sacrifices made so we can all be here today. Anne's love of God and her strong faith have never failed her. Her faith began at a very young age and was so important to her. She would always share a positive word and a smile, and her gift of encouragement was with her up to her last earthly breath. Anne worked alongside her husband for many years, farming, trucking, and other adventures. When Jack passed, she worked at Lewis Point Store and eventually made her way to Eddie's Restaurant as a hostess, where she loved greeting and meeting new people. Upon retirement from Eddie's, she eventually made the move to warmer weather. Anne never met a stranger; she was always friendly and had a way of making those around her feel comfortable whether you knew her for 5 minutes or 50 years. Her smile and joyfulness were contagious and felt by all she touched. Anne loved to sing and up to the end of her earthly life; she kept singing and yodeling. During her last hospital stay, her voice filled the hallway corridor, and the nurses would stop by to hear her sing. In preparation for her passing (you know Annie was always prepared) I asked her what she would want people to know, and her reply was, "Always look up to God and the Light because you will always be alright as long as you keep looking up!" So, folks; keep looking up. Mom had a dream a few weeks ago that she was walking again, and as she described it to me, she had a huge smile on her face and said, "I know I am going to be walking again." Well, Mom is walking; in fact, I believe she ran to the loves of her life, Jesus and Dad and they "walked" her home. Surviving are her sons and special daughters-in-love and son in love: Donald (Kris) Betsinger of Cazenovia, NY, Douglas (Diane) Betsinger of Jensen Beach, FL, daughter Debra (Edward Campany) of West Palm Beach, FL. Her beloved Grandchildren, Siearra (Ryan) August of Port St Lucie, FL, Ryan (Lauren) Betsinger of Fort Pierce, FL, James (Noelle) Campany of Jupiter, FL, Jacki Campany of Jupiter, FL, Joshua (Heather) Griffin-Betsinger of Cazenovia, NY. She was GiGi to: Logan, Parker, Gavin, Whitney, Ethan, Emilia, Winnie and Jackson. She is also survived by her beloved extended Narolis family, and you all know who you are - she loved you all dearly and thank you for always showing up for our Momma. She was met at Heaven's gate by all her family and friends that passed before her, and oh what a reunion I am sure that was. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Campbell Dean Funeral Home, Oneida NY and will be held Friday, January 24th. Viewing from 11-1pm with memorial service beginning at 1pm. Private burial will follow the service. The family wants to personally thank Palm City Nursing and Rehab, all her caregivers especially Losomie and Josie for the love and care given to Anne. One last thing, Anne said she will see you when you all get "home."
