July 11, 1932 — February 18, 2025

It is with profound sadness, but filled with love and gratitude for his life, that we announce the passing of Angelo Nardi, affectionately known as "Al" to many, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18th in Delray Beach, Florida, surrounded by his loving family. He was 92 years old. Born in Queens, New York, on July 11, 1932, Al was the son of Benjamin Nardi and Frances Reformato. From a young age, he demonstrated a great passion for life and an entrepreneurial spirit that led him to become a successful businessman. For many years, he was the proud owner of a thriving garment business, where his dedication and vision made him a leader in the industry. But beyond his professional achievements, Al was an exemplary family man. His love for his wife, Marie Nardi, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage, was unwavering. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter and values that they passed on to their four children: Laura Honor, Darrin, Douglas and Gary Nardi. Al was a fundamental pillar in the spiritual and moral growth of his children, guiding them with wisdom and unconditional love. Al served his country with honor in the United States Army Air Forces, demonstrating his commitment and patriotism. His service was a testament to his upright character and his willingness to give his best for his country. Al's legacy transcends time and generations. His love, charisma, and friendship will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know him. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren will continue to carry his spirit and teachings in their lives. The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in bidding farewell to Al and celebrating his life on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the mausoleum at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery. Although his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit and love will live on forever in our hearts. Long live our dear Al.
