Angelo Maria Cona

Angelo Maria Cona 92 also known as Charlie formerly of Deer Park and West Islip NY, Lake Worth FL died 3/4/2020. Born in Italy came to the US in 1932. He was former owner of Cona and Sons Landscaping, a Volunteer firefighter and Chief in Deer Park Fire Dept. for over 60 years and a WW II Veteran. Loved to golf, play cards and bowl. Preceded in death by his parents Carmine and Rosina (Fishetti), brother Joseph (Ida) Cona, Rocco Cona, sister Millie Azzaro, and daughter Roseann Cona. He is survived by his loving wife Rosemary, son Charles, daughters, Maria (John) Pellegrino, Lorraine Ricciardi, Jo Ann (Dave) Weigel and Rosemary Khera, Grandchildren Joseph, Anthony, Rebecca, Raymond, Martin, Sister Louise (Cliff) Rostin, brother Vincent (Mary) Cona, sister in law Ginger Cona, Linda Capece, brother in law Joseph (Semmy) Ervolino, many nieces and nephews. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8p Sunday 3/8/20 at Palms West Funeral Home service at 7pm by Deacon Joe. Burial Monday at 9am at South Florida National Cemetery.
