Angeline Janecki

Cherished Mother, Grandmother and Great- grandmother. Angeline Janecki , beloved wife of Matthew Janecki, who predeceased her, began her journey home to God on December 2nd at age 95. Angeline was born and lived in Chicago and worked 28 years at South Chicago Community Hospital. After retirement, she volunteered at St. Margaret's Hospital in Calumet City. She moved with her daughter Karen and son-in-law Cal to West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2004. She volunteered at Palms West Hospital until age 94. Along with Karen and Calvin Amstein, she is survived by her son William Marc Janecki, grandchildren James (Diana) Mika, Kimberly (James) O'Neill, Lisa (Aaron) Huston, Andrew ( Tammy) Amstein and Stephen (Meg) Amstein. She will be lovingly remembered by her Great-grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Liam, Jacob, Cody, Ryan, Hayden and McKinsey. Many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews will remember her simple generosity and caring spirit. She was preceded in death by her brothers William (Vera) and Alex (Mary), and Sisters Estelle ( Frank) Mildred ( Gerry) Charlotte (Joseph). Sister-in-law of Stanley, Barney, Edward, Kelly, Jean, Stella, Tessie and Alice. Angeline made cherished friends in West Palm Beach, including Barbara Edwards who held a special place in her heart. Angeline had an indomitable spirit and strength that met challenges and obstacles with a determination to live life fully, with concern and caring for family and friends, and an unwavering faith and trust in God. We who have been touched by her, nurtured by her, go forward with her in our hearts and souls and a promise to live our days faithful to the lessons she taught us with such dignity and love in the end.
