Angela Mary Fonda

Angela Fonda, 88, of Wellington, Florida, passed away on August 11, 2026. Born November 26, 1938, in the Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of Carmella and Vincent DeGennaro.

Angela was a woman of vibrancy and warmth who found her greatest joy in the company of her family. She spent her career working with the South Florida Water Management District, but her true passions were found in the simple pleasures of life. She loved the rhythm of Frank Sinatra's music, the excitement of a shopping trip, and staying active through exercise. She also held a lifelong, well-known fondness for chocolate candy.

She is pre-deceased by her husband, Jerry B. Fonda, on February 24, 2015; and is survived by her children, Frank and his wife Ozlem, and Laura and her husband Tony; and her beloved grandchildren, Sabrina, Jenna, Matthew, and Caleb.

A funeral mass will be held in her honor at Saint Rita's Church in Wellington, Florida, on August 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
