Angel F. Sosa Angel F. Sosa, 86, of Loxahatchee, Florida, passed from this life to the next on December 3, 2025. Born on May 11, 1939, in Colón, Matanzas, Cuba, to Angel (Chiqui) and Francisca (Mecha) Sosa, Angel grew up immersed in the rhythms of ranch life, learning the art of cattle ranching from his father—a passion that would define much of his life. In Cuba, he balanced a successful career as a banker with running his own cattle business alongside his father at the family ranch. It was at a party that he met the love of his life, Myrian Gomez (November 8, 1939 – September 9, 2025). They fell deeply in love and married, sharing 62 devoted years together. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Ivonne, before the rise of communism forced them to flee their homeland, losing their ranch and freedom. After spending 10 months in Spain, they immigrated to Allentown, Pennsylvania, where their second daughter, Ivette, was born. The family later settled in West Palm Beach, Florida. Determined to provide for his family, Angel enrolled in trade school while working full-time, mastering the craft of auto body mechanics, painting, and refinishing. He earned the affectionate nickname "the man with a golden arm" for his exceptional skill in painting cars. In 1982, Angel realized a lifelong dream when he purchased land in Loxahatchee, creating a ranch of his own once more—a place where his love for animals and the land could flourish. Angel will be remembered as a faithful husband and father who placed family and faith above all else. He was a hardworking man of profound honor, respect, and integrity, with a deep affection for animals and music. He is survived by his loving daughters, Ivonne Sherman (Terry) and Ivette Jardines (Ruben); his grandchildren, TJ, Rachel, Steven, Christopher, Jacob, as well as great granddaughter's Lorelai, and Isabella; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory. Angel was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Myrian, and his parents.
