Angel Sanchez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angel Sanchez, a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Born in Puerto Rico, Angel was incredibly proud of his Puerto Rican roots and carried that pride with him throughout his life. But above all else, Angel was a family man. He loved his family deeply, and they were without a doubt his greatest accomplishment and his greatest source of pride. Nothing meant more to him than being surrounded by the people he loved.

Angel had a love for music that stayed with him throughout his entire life. He would come home from work on Fridays, put on his music, open a Budweiser, and officially start the weekend. It was his way of relaxing and enjoying life. Even after retirement, music remained an important part of his everyday life and was often the soundtrack to his happiest moments.

Angel also loved a good party. It didn’t matter what the occasion was—if there was a celebration, Angel wanted to be there. He never wanted to miss out on the fun, the laughter, or the opportunity to be surrounded by family and friends. His presence brought something special to every gathering.

And then, of course, there was his famous fanny pack. Most people who knew Angel knew that he rarely left the house without it. He was rocking the fanny pack long before it became cool again—and he wore it proudly.

Angel will be remembered for his love of family, his pride in where he came from, his love of music and celebrations, and all the little things that made him uniquely himself. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will carry his love with them always.

His greatest legacy will not be measured by what he owned or what he accomplished in his career, but by the love he gave his family and the memories he created with them.

Angel will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
