Andrew Dewayne Weisenborn

Andrew Dewayne Weisenborn, 66, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on August 3, 2016 after a long and well-fought battle with cancer. Andy was born on May 5, 1950 to Charles S. and Mildred Weisenborn in Macon, MO. Andy is survived by his wife, Gail Hopwood-Weisenborn, son Nick Weisenborn (Kim), daughter Erin Weisenborn, brother Mike Weisenborn (Cheryl), step children Fred Poddig (Shaun), Julie Charlton (Brian) , Mark Hopwood; and grandchildren Lillian, Isabella, and Josephine Weisenborn, Fred, Christian and Casey Poddig, Sean Charlton and Brandon Hopwood, as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins. Andy showed us that life after a cancer diagnosis can be very rewarding, and he spent many hours helping others, raising funds for cancer research and treatment and of course his two favorite pastimes - fishing and baseball! He was a fully devoted follower of Christ and we are sure he has been welcomed into heaven with singing and joy, for he knew that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
