Andrew Armatas

Andrew ?Andy? Armatas, 71, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away peacefully September 26, 2007 after a brief illness. Andy was a true entrepreneur who founded Stark Maintenance in Canton, OH, Bagel-Go-Round, Annie?s Hallmark, and Pete?s Place Restaurant in West Palm Beach, FL. Andy was a native of Canton, OH, graduated from Timken High School in 1955. After graduating high school he married his childhood sweetheart, Mary Ann, on December 25, 1955. He served in the United States Army from 1956-1959 in Geneva, NY. Andy was a loving and devoted husband, father, Papou, and Great-grandfather. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 51 years, Mary Ann; his loving children, John Armatas(Caron), Peter Armatas(Kathy), Ann Marie Ferro(Rick). He was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Adam (Christi), Andrew, Alexandra, Ricky, Calvin, Nicholas, Mackenzy, Jordan, Logan, Isabella, and one Great-grandson, Kale. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Anna Sengos, his three sisters Mary Sprague (Ron), Athena Pachares (Tony), and Diane Foradas (Peter), his sister-in-law, Katheren Armatas, his brother-in-law Jim Sengos (Sally). He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Armatas. His rich Greek heritage and strong faith provided him with a loving and devoted family, consisting of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. All of those who were blessed to have known and especially love Andy will cherish their memories of his zest for life, love of family, sense of humor, and brilliant business sense. Affectionately known as the ?Kahuna? he will be missed by all. Friends may visit from 6-9 P.M. at the funeral home with a Trisagion service by Father Andrew Maginas at 8 P.M.
