Amanda Joy Sheene

Amanda Joy Sheene , 55 of Miami Springs, FL passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital , West Palm Beach FL on December 19, 2021. Amanda was born in Opa Locka, FL on June 30th, 1966, to Dariel and Harold Johnson. She attended Norland Sr High School, Miami FL. Amanda most recently worked as an independent tax consultant , but her real love was the voluntary work with Boxer Friends, Inc . Anyone who knew Amanda knew how important her pets were to her. She was a frequent foster "mom" for dogs waiting for their forever homes along with her own permanent pets Her beloved boxer Dante was her sidekick and faithful companion for over 6 years before passing earlier this year . Amanda is survived by siblings Julie Hohenstein (Bruce), Benjamin Johnson, Sarah Chung ( Philip), nephews William Johnson, and Frankie Hohenstein , nieces Jessica Olsen ( Steven) Samantha Chung , Amy Chung and step son Zachary Sheene, along with her very loved "greats"- nieces Athena Olsen , Emma Chung and nephew Zander Olsen. Amanda was predeceased by Harold Johnson, Father, Dariel Johnson, Mother, and Eric Chung, nephew. Memorial services will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Jan 4th 1-3pm. If you are so moved, memorial donations may be made in Amanda's name to Boxer Friends, Inc.
