Amalia Arango, a cherished soul who graced this world with her presence , peacefully departed from us on June 15, 2026, in Wellington, Florida. Born on March 14, 1944, in the vibrant city of Manizales, Colombia, Amalia lived a life marked by quiet dignity and enduring warmth.

Throughout her years, Amalia embodied the rich cultural heritage of her birthplace, carrying its spirit with her wherever she journeyed. Her gracious nature and eloquent manner left an indelible impression on all fortunate enough to know her. She was a woman of strength and resilience, qualities that illuminated her path and inspired those around her.

To honor the life and legacy of this extraordinary woman, a Celebration of Life will be held on June 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., located at 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, Florida 33411. 

Amalia’s departure leaves a void that resonates deeply, yet the echoes of her compassion and grace endure, a testament to a life well-lived. As we reflect on her journey, we are reminded of the love and joy she brought into the world—love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. She is survived by her children Gloria Stella and Hector Jr. and her grandchildren, Julissa, Andrew, Carolina, Gabriel, Samuel and Sarah..
