Alyssa Sangeeta Jacobson, 23, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019, from injuries sustained while walking near her home. Alyssa was born October 17, 1996, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was a graduate of Florida Atlantic University Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, and recently obtained her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University. Alyssa worked at Office Depot for the past four years as a Loss Prevention Operations Analyst. Alyssa is survived by her mothers, Geeta Loach-Jacobson and Karen Ehrlich, her sister Tessa Ambika Jacobson, her father Alan Jacobson, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She brightened every room she went into and inspired her friends and family to enjoy each moment. Alyssa's smile was infectious and she had a zest for life. She loved to travel with family and friends. Alyssa will be missed and never forgotten. Visitation will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2019, with services immediately following at 1:30pm, at the Palms West Funeral Home. To honor Alyssa's life and memory a scholarship fund has been established. The Alyssa Sangeeta Jacobson Scholarship will fund educational opportunities for young people.
