Alicia Maria Garcia

Alicia Maria Garcia, age 69, passed away on Saturday December 19, 2020 at Palms West Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family and holding the hands of her children. Alicia is preceded in death by her husband Francisco "Pancho" Garcia and Grandson Logan Banner. She is survived by her children, Ana Maria Garcia Farrah, Fernando Garcia, Step-daughter Marta Elena Garcia Diaz, Audra Watkins, Son-in-Law James Farrah, Daughter-in-Law Melinda McLinton and; her grandchildren Gabriel, Roman, Tahlia, and Teagan, Frank, Alejandro, and Jacob Robert. Alicia was born in Havana Cuba on December 19, 1951 to Maximino Souto and Maria Souto. As a teenager, she, her mother and sister fled Cuba and lived a year in Spain which she remembered fondly. From there the family made their way to Boston Massachusetts where they were all finally reunited with Max. In her new home she met and married the love of her life and together they adventured through this crazy fruitful life hand in hand. Alicia will always be remembered as the free spirit with a stern demeanor. She knew how to let go, let loose and live life with the breeze blowing through her usually short hair, but she also knew how to be serious, knuckle down and tell you how it is. She has been an amazing daughter, loyal sister, lovingly devoted wife, outstanding mother, friend with no bounds and advisor to all. She has always had a love for life, and her career, her family, and most of all her grandbabies she couldn't get enough of. She will be missed terribly. This world will never be the same without her amazing energy and pushing force. Alicia es precedida en la muerte por su esposo Francisco "Pancho" García y su nieto Logan Banner. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Ana María García Farrah, Fernando García, hijastra Marta Elena García Díaz, Audra Watkins, yerno James Farrah, nuera Melinda McLinton y; sus nietos Gabriel, Roman, Tahlia y Teagan, Frank, Alejandro y Jacob Robert. Alicia nació en La Habana Cuba el 19 de diciembre de 1951. Hija de Maximino Souto y Maria Souto. De adolescente, ella, su madre y su hermana huyeron de Cuba y vivieron un año en España que recordaba con cariño. Desde allí, la familia se dirigió a Boston, Massachusetts, donde finalmente se reunieron con Max. En su nuevo hogar conoció y se casó con el amor de su vida y juntos se adentraron en esta loca y fructífera vida de la mano. Alicia siempre será recordada como el espíritu libre con un comportamiento severo. Sabía cómo soltarse y vivir la vida con la brisa que soplaba a través de su cabello, generalmente corto, pero también sabía cómo ser seria, ponerse los nudillos y decirte cómo es. Ha sido una hija increíble, una hermana leal, una esposa amorosamente devota, una madre sobresaliente, una amiga sin límites y consejera de todos. Ella siempre ha amado la vida, su carrera, su familia y, sobre todo, sus nietos de los que nunca tenia suficiente tiempo a sus lados. La extrañaremos terriblemente. Este mundo nunca será el mismo sin su increíble energía y fuerza de empuje.
