Alfred V. Alasia

ALFRED VICTOR ALASIA, age 85, of Lake Worth, FL, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010. Mr. Alasia was born on January 28, 1925 in Greenwich Village (Manhattan) New York, to Casare and Caterina Alasia. Formerly of Whitestone, NY, he and his wife Eleanor relocated to Florida in 1990 together with their company, Graphic Security Systems Corporation. He served as CEO of his company until his passing. Survivors include his three daughters, Denise Nastasi, Nanette Roberts, Audrey Alasia and his two sons, Alfred Alasia and Thomas Alasia. Another daughter, Joann Quinn passed on in 1992. In addition, he is survived by ten Grandchildren; Cary Quinn, Deanna Quinn, Alexis Alasia, Joey Alasia, Zach Alasia, Meg (Nastasi) Belmont, Thomas Nastasi, Anthony Nastasi, Melissa (Nastasi) Benick and Alexandra Nastasi. Alfred will be sadly missed, not only by his family but by his many friends and business associates. His stories, sense of humor and generosity will long be remembered. Visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way (SR7/441), Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 (561-753-6004) on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 2pm – 4pm & 6pm – 8pm and on Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 2pm – 4pm & 6pm – 8pm, with a service at 7:30pm. The funeral service will be on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 11:00am at St. Therese de Lisieux Catholic Church, 11800 Lake Worth Road, Wellington, FL 33449 (561-784-0689). Entombment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
