Alexander Esteban Gonzalez passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. He was 17 years old. Alexander was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 21, 2004, and was the most beautiful blue eyed baby boy. He is the eldest of three sons to Miguel and Jessica Gonzalez. At an early age, Alex showed his charming personality and quick wit. Even as a child he knew how to make everyone in his life feel important and loved. He went on to become a polite young man who enjoyed making people laugh and sharing random facts that he found interesting. At the time of his death, he was in the process of graduating from high school, working at The Home Depot, and completing the Recruit Academy Program with the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Cadet 2nd Battalion. He gave himself to Jesus in Baptism and was a proud member of Christ Fellowship where he learned to praise and love our Savior Jesus Christ. He also enjoyed donating his time to the animals at Peggy Adams. Alex was keenly interested in the world around him and had hoped to travel to Europe this year. He will forever be missed but never forgotten. Alex is survived by his parents Miguel and Jessica, two younger brothers Nicolas and Christian, Grandparents Pedro and Carmen Gonzalez and Joleen Brickey, Great Grandma Maria Antonia Zamudio, Tia Jennifer Gonzalez, Uncle Henry Harvey (sons Brenden and Nathaniel Harvey, daughter Jocelyn Bright), Uncle Andrew Brickey (Spouse Rebecca Brickey and son Lennon Brickey), Aunt Brandi Bruschke (Spouse Marcus Bruschke, son Braxton Bruschke, daughters Maysen and Madisyn Bruschke). His beloved pets Gracie, Cooper, Deniro, Cecilia, The Bean and Luca. His legacy will live on with his extended family in Colombia and his 80 plus cousins in the US. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 4 p.m. at Palms West Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider donating to Peggy Adams Animal Rescue where Alex enjoyed volunteering his time. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League 3200 N.
