Alejandro Luis Goas

Alex Goas passed away on Thursday May 6, 2021. He fought a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer and is finally resting in the arms of Christ. Alex is survived by his Mother Angela Goas, His Wife Maria Goas, His Daughters Alexis and Vanessa Goas, His Brothers Jose, Angel and Frank Goas He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Goas. Alex was born in New York, NY on October 11, 1964, to Jose and Angela Goas. The family moved to Florida where he was raised. In 1983 he graduated high school from McArthur High, Hollywood Fl. He worked for Publix Grocery in the warehouse facility and finally as a delivery driver. Following that, he started his own lawn maintenance business called Lawn Masters and moved into a new career as a facility maintenance/AC Technician for the Broward County School Board which he retired in Jan 2020. In May 1995 he married Maria, which they would have been celebrating their 26th wedding Anniversary this year. October 1995 and July 1999 respectfully, he welcomed his two beautiful daughters Alexis and Vanessa who were the most important part of his life. Alex was a devoted son, husband, and father. He loved the lord and attended his church faithfully. In his spare time, he liked fishing, boating, swimming, reading, gardening, carpentry, but most of all spending time with his family, his dogs and friends at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 12th at 11:00 am at Christ Fellowship, Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. Burial will be at Our Lady Queen Of Hearts, Lauderhill, Fl.
