Albert Parke (uncle Nash) was born in St. Ann, Jamaica on August 24, 1939, to the late Frank Allen Parke and the late Winkett Parke. Nash, as he was commonly known, was one of eleven children. Sadly, he departed this life on July 22, 2021, at home with his loved ones. During Albert's earlier years, he lived in the Carnie District and attended Clysdale Primary where he graduated. He then had a daughter, Olivene Parke, before he moved to England in the late1950's. In England, he met Sylvia and his stepson Roosevelt; they were married in 1962. From that union they had two children, Dave and Heather. Albert worked as a forklift operator in England. He moved with his family to New York in the early 1970's, and worked in several factories before moving to Florida in 1987. Unfortunately, in March of 2019, he was diagnosed with colon cancer. After several surgeries and various treatments, he went into remission. Sadly, in March 2021, the cancer returned and on the morning of July 22, 2021, Albert Headley Parke went home. He leaves behind his children: Olivene Parke, Dave Parke (Lavinia Parke), Heather Shakes (Arnett Shakes), step son Roosevelt Carr (Debbie Carr), his five sisters Veronica, Lucille, Joyce, Millicent, and Jereta, along with numerous, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
