Albert Thomas Mericle

Albert Thomas Mericle, 77, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 28, 2011. Born in Willoughby, Ohio, he was the son of Julian and Marie (Simon) Mericle. Albert's memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 55 years, Helen Marie (Long) Mericle; daughters, Vicki Mericle, Tina Mericle, Linda Mericle and Teresa Mericle; siblings, Marcella (Ralph) Rucks, Janet (Herb) Podell and Marilyn ( David) Meeks; along with a host of other family members and dear friends. A visitation will be held 5-7 PM on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Palms West Funeral Home with a wake service beginning at 6:30 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 10 AM on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church. A crypt side service will follow mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery where Albert will be entombed with United States Naval Honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Albert's name to St. Vincent de Paul Charities at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, 100 Crestwood Boulevard South, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
