Alan Wade Fyfe

Age 76 of Lake Worth, FL passed away on February 12, 2015 from complications of Alzheimer's Disease. Alan was born in New Haven, CT to the late Arthur and Lillian Fyfe. Alan was preceded in death by his brother Larry and his two sons, Alan and Brian. He leaves his devoted wife of 53 years, Nancy. Al and Nancy met in Chicago where Al worked for International Harvester Corp. They were transferred around the United States for 10 years before settling in Florida. His love was always heavy equipment and he could tell you stories about most of the big cranes around the State. He went on to work for Sly Machinery, owned his own business for awhile Transtate before working for Steve Moore Chevrolet and Wayne Akers Ford. He leaves behind his mother-in-law, Mary Fallon; brother-in-laws, George (Jo) and Jim Fallon (Stacy); sister-in-law Barbara Schegg (John) and many nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of Life Mass at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 348 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL on February 17th at 10:00 A.M.. Donations in his name can be made to the Alzheimer Assoc. of Palm Beach County or to Hospice by the Sea. There will be a reception at the Atlantis Country Club fallowing the Services.
