Agatino (Aggie) Joseph Rizzo of West Palm Beach passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. He was 82 years old. Aggie was born on August 11, 1940, in New York City. Much of his youth coincided with the golden age of New York City baseball, and he often told stories of the Yankee greats from the 1940s and 50s. As a 19-year-old, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and toured the world. While stationed in Okinawa he met his wife Teruko Shirota, and they were married in 1962. They lived in Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, before moving to Florida. Most recently he worked as an insurance agent with Humana and later as the owner of BSI Insurance. In his later years, he became a model train enthusiast. Aggie had a great love for the family dogs. Agatino Rizzo was preceded in death by his parents, Carmelo and Carmela, and sister-in-law Josephine. He is survived by his wife Teruko, children Carmelo and his wife Norma Dunlap, Maria, and Teriann Conrad and her husband Gregg Conrad, brothers Carmelo and Salvatore and his wife MaryEllen, and sister Nancy, grandchildren Joseph, Emily, and Isaac, and the family canines Koi and Pez.
