Thomas P. Kasinger III

December 4, 1967 - May 2, 2021

Thomas Paul Kasinger, III, born December 4th, 1967, in Jacksonville, IL to Thomas, Jr and Cheryl Kasinger passed away on May 2nd, 2021, after a brief but hard-fought battle with leukemia and complications from treatment. Tom was a veteran of the US Air Force, meeting his Honey Ko, Eliza Mitra, while stationed in the Philippines. They married on August 4th, 1990, in Rock Island, IL. They lived in Washington, DC while he finished his service, then moved to Champaign-Urbana, IL, where Tom completed his Bachelor's degree at the University of Illinois. Afterwards, they moved to the suburbs of Chicago in Algonquin, IL, where Tom worked for Motorola and where they welcomed three beautiful boys (now wonderful young men) to the family. While there, Tom also graduated from Keller Graduate School of Management with a Master's degree in project management. The family moved to the Palm Beach, FL area in July of 2009. At work, Tom supported the software development, system engineering, and cybersecurity needs of several companies, most recently working for IBM. Tom will be remembered for his brilliant mind, aptitude (and affinity) for technology, great love for his family, and sincere fellowship with his brothers and sisters in Christ. He was a role model for his children, siblings, and friends. Tom leaves behind his wife Eliza; sons Kevin, Thomas Paul, IV, and Shawn; mother Cheryl; brother John (Brenda); and sister Becky Landstreet (Michael). Tom is preceded in death by his father. Due to COVID-19, participation in services will be limited. The family is very grateful for condolences, thoughts and prayers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
