Rosa Toledo
May 6, 1942 - February 14, 2022
Rosa Toledo, 79, passed away February 14th, 2022. Rosa was born on May 6th, 1942 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba before moving to Spain and eventually settling in the Unites States with her husband to raise their family. Rosa considered West Palm Beach her home, as that is where she spent the last 55 years of her life. Rosa, adoringly known as “Ita” to family and friends, was known for her big smile and kind spirit. She had an infectious personality that made strangers feel as though they had known her their entire life. She loved making small talk and considered everyone she encountered a friend. Rosa worked for John I. Leonard High School for over twenty-five years before her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and attending church. She was a devout child of God and spent her life living faithfully through Him. Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, Felino Raul Toledo, her parents and siblings. She is survived by her children Teresa B. Travieso, Raul Toledo (Jodi), and Rosa Toledo (Tony); her grandchildren Christina Travieso Brown (Christopher), Jennifer Travieso (Morgan), Adrianna Kohutek (Chase), Alex Toledo, and Tyson Toledo; her great grandchildren Michael Diaz, KayLee Brown, CarLeigh Brown, Ava Brown, Charlie Beth Sparks, Tucker Sparks, and Charlotte Kohutek. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Palms West Funeral Home. A visitation will begin at 10am, followed by a service 12:30pm and graveside burial service at 2pm.
