On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, Jose Manuel Sampson, a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, uncle, and friend passed away. Jose Manuel Sampson was born in La Ceiba, Honduras on October 29, 1947. He was happily married to his beautiful wife Elsa, whom he adored dearly and they were inseparable for 53 years. He migrated from Honduras to New York in 1982, and has been living in West Palm Beach, Florida since 2001 until his passing. He enjoyed watching sports, one of his main sports was America’s favorite pastime, baseball. Manuel was a New York Mets fan, he would root for them together with his son Juan Carlos. Another sport which he loved to watch every weekend was soccer, which he would enjoy sitting in the comfort of his own home with his son Victor. They would cheer together for their home team in Honduras. He loved spending quality time with his family as this brought him great joy. He had a real passion for playing dominoes with his children, grandchildren, and his daughter-in-law, and son-in-law. He is survived by his wife, Elsa and their four children: Victor, Elsa, Juan Carlos, and Rosalie and 13 grandchildren: Jaasiel, Michelle, José, Michael, Jennifer, Jerelyn, Juan Carlos, Jr., Brian, Brandon, Britney, Bianca, Christian, and Liam. Of his 13 siblings, he is survived by: Alejandro “Teo”, Audelio “Lelo”, Julia, Aminda, and Rosa. Manuel will be remembered for his strength, resilience, loyalty, passion, and love. A service will be held via Zoom on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a small funeral service will be held at Palms West Funeral Service in Royal Palm Beach, Florida.
