Nancy White

Nancy Burfeindt White passed away peacefully on February 28th, 2024, surrounded by her beloved husband and children. She was born at St. Agnus Hospital in White Plains, NY, on November 6, 1957, to Karl and Carol Burfeindt, the second of three children. Growing up together her sister Linda, brother Paul and parents enjoyed time together always with family and friends. Nancy and her family all attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Plainview, where she was confirmed and later married. After Nancy graduated from Old Bethpage High School in Plainview, NY, she attended college on Long Island. After college, she began working in retail sales, which became her calling, as she enjoyed working with fine jewelry, gems, and high-quality watches as a gifted and top-performing saleswoman. Nancy loved traveling and traveled across the USA and abroad which included meeting her family relatives in Germany. She fell in love with Michael White, also from Long Island, NY, and they were happily married on July 1st, 1984. Nancy and Michael enjoyed time together, traveling, and especially time with family. Together they have three beautiful children, Ashley, Michael, and James. Nancy was the nucleus of the family with her infectious laughter and love of life. Several years later, they relocated together to the Royal Palm Beach area in Florida to enjoy the warmer weather and sunshine. Nancy continued her love of retail in Florida and the enjoyment of meeting new people, as she never met a stranger. After a few years in Florida, Nancy and Michael were gifted with two beautiful grandchildren, Michael Scott, and Mia Evelyn whom she affectionately referred to as her little “chickens”. They in returned called her their “Nanny.” Last year, they were blessed as a family with a beautiful memory, a trip to Disney World. In her retirement, Nancy recently began to enjoy painting beautiful pictures with watercolors, focusing on flowers. Nancy was our dearest daughter, sister, wife, mother, Nanny, and auntie. Nancy Burfeindt White is survived by her father and mother, Karl and Carol Burfeindt of Plainview, NY. Her husband Michael White, her daughter Ashely White and partner Manny Xenias and granddaughter Mia Evelyn. Her sons Michael Thomas White, partner Brittany Storms and grandson Michael Scot. Her youngest son, James Karl White. Her sister, Linda Burfeindt Swift, husband Jon C. Swift, nieces Carolyn Swift Heritage, Amy Swift Johnson and Lauren Swift Swartz; Her brother Paul Louis Burfeindt, wife Lilliana Burfeindt, nieces Jennifer Burfeindt, Allison Burfeindt and nephew Christian Arenas.
