Josephine Sorrentino

Josephine Sorrentino, of Royal Palm Beach, FL, passed away on August 10, 2011 at the age of 81. Born in Salerno, Italy, she immigrated to Staten Island, NY then moved to Florida in 1990. She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Rudolph Sorrentino. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter; Anna (Robert) Hammerton and grandchildren; Michael Hammerton and Melissa (Paul) Buckland. A visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Sunday, August 14, 2011 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM then from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a wake service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Rita Church in Wellington, Florida on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Entombment will immediately follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County at www.hpbcf.org
