Alice H. Mace, 90, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 18, 2015 at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Summerdale, Alabama to Charles and Jenny Weekley. Alice attended school in South Florida and later was employed by The Associates as a book keeper and married Robert Lee Mace, September 19, 1953. She dedicated her life to raising her two children, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild in a Godly way. Alice was so full of life and had an infectious, loving personality. She volunteered at local schools, served faithfully in her church for many years and she was a pillar in her community. She left a mark on the lives of everyone she met. Her generosity and loving kindness was always felt. She served the Lord with all of her heart for many years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Monroe Weekley Sr., mother Jenny Weekley, husband Robert Lee Mace, grandson Joel Robert McDonald, brothers Charles Monroe Weekley Jr., Norman Sidney (Louise) Weekley, sister Florence Marie Phelps She is survived by her daughters Debra Jane Free, Sheri Lynn McDonald, grandson, Charles Randall (Laurie) Free, great grandson, Charles Maverick Free and brother, William Walter (Reva) Weekley. The viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 30th from 11am - 12pm at the First Baptist Church in Belle Glade, 17 NW Avenue B Belle Glade, Florida 33430, with a service beginning at 12 pm. Internment following the funeral at Port Mayaca Memorial Gardens.
