Michael J. Rega

Michael J. Rega, beloved husband of Joyce Rega, passed away on December 16, 2012. Michael was born in Italy on June 26, 1926 and lived in Staten Island, New York before moving to Florida and settling in Royal Palm Beach. He was an Electrical Engineer and after retirement, volunteered in many hospitals and nursing homes. He also had a love of cooking for others and taught so many to do the same. Along with Joyce Rega, 71, he is survived by his son Michael Rega, Jr., and daughter in law Edie; five grandchildren Mikal Joy, Brooke, Kristen, Michael and Sally Ann; four great-grandchildren; sister Laura Palumbo and brother in law Ralph Palumbo. He will also be remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service and inurnment will take place on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 1:00 PM ar Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach.
